1966 Chevy C60 with a period four-door conversion.

Kinja'd!!!

Big-block Chevy power and wonderfully 60’s looking. Love those Dayton wheels.

So Oppo, at $55k, NP or CP?

CP ... interesting conversion ... but it’s a conversion. Rust? Driveshaft/differential adequate for the weight? Transmission? Engine mods? It’s clearly someone’s dream project, and I commend them for doing exactly what they wanted to do. But getting someone to cash you out of a money pit like this is not going to happen. 20 grand if someone’s generous.

Big time CP. Tow rigs should be a step above beaters. I’m not tryin’ to impress anyone with my tow rig. I’m just tryin’ to move my heavy shit from one place to another as efficiently as possible.

I paid about 55 for my tow rig, but I guarantee it tows way better than this. Also, 4 doors with no rear seats is goofy as hell.

I’ve always thought 60’s factory race team trucks were awesome. I’d put this one closer to $30K.

Yeah, it’s definitely a cool rig. Selling it as a $30k one-off car show cruiser, you got yourself a conversation, but at 55 for a legit tow rig you’re pissin’ in the wind.

I’d convert it to a ramp truck, that’d make it better.

No problem with that. That is a heathy attitude for Craigslist

CP, neat idea but I’d like to see who did the appraisal. Definitely not worth $55k

$30k is the exact number I went to in my head. I love this thing, but not for $55k!

CP - but I wonder what occasioned this particular conversion. There were a *lot* of railway company four-doors made, but most of those are a much shorter wheelbase. Still, since they have a better looking bed, usually, they’d be the ones to go for.

The ad said it was a firetruck, the bed was fab’d later by the current owner.

As I understood the ad, he wasn’t sure exactly, but firetruck does seem like the most likely scenario of those listed. I’d still prefer one of the railway ones, personally - normal bed, not as ungainly.

As I replied to somebody else, it’d make a neat ramp truck.
